Bob defends mortgage lenders, mortgage investors and mortgage servicers from federal claims, including under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and from state consumer lending claims, such as consumer fraud claims and predatory lending claims. Bob also represents mortgage lenders, mortgage investors and mortgage servicers in insurance litigation.
Bob is an experienced litigator with substantial trial experience in Illinois state and federal courts including first-chair and second-chair trial experience involving presentation of opening and closing statements, direct and cross examination of occurrence and expert witnesses, introduction of exhibits into evidence, evidentiary objections and post-trial motions. Bob also has extensive experience with pre-trial discovery, drafting pleadings, contracts and agreements. Bob has substantial experience representing clients in appellate matters in Illinois appellate courts.
Bob acts as an independent arbitrator and he has been sought out as an arbitrator to help adverse parties resolve their differences through arbitration.
Bob is fluent in Spanish.

Bob is an active member of St. Linus Parish and a Past Vice President of the St. Linus School Board. An Eagle Scout himself, Bob is also involved with the St. Linus Scouting Program.
